Since the early 1990s, thousands of political refugees from Bhutan (Bhutanese by origin, Nepali by ethnicity and language) have relocated to Pittsburgh.

In 2008, Bellevue Christian Church was given the opportunity to help one Bhutanese family adjust to life in Bellevue. Then in 2010, God made a way for us to partner with Pittsburgh Bhutanese Hosanna Church as they reach other Bhutanese immigrants with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Led by Pastor Krishna Thatal and Worship/Youth Pastor Jason Bhandari, Pittsburgh Bhutanese Hosanna Church gathers at Bellevue Christian Church on Sunday evenings at 6 pm (with a youth service at 4 pm) for worship and preaching in the Nepali language.
