Do you ever feel guilty, stuck, unloved, or alone?

What if I told you that biblical words like justification, redemption, propitiation, and reconciliation speak into those feelings? These words might seem intimidating to us, but they were taken from everyday life in the ancient world. When the biblical authors wanted to make sense of the cross, the Holy Spirit inspired them to make use of locations from ordinary life: the court, the market, the temple, and the home. In the weeks leading up to Easter, we’re going to explore these four locations from everyday life in the first-century and see what difference it makes in everyday life in the twenty-first century.

This series starts Sunday, February 28th, 2021.
