We want to see people equipped to live everyday life like Jesus right here in PGH.
That’s why we’ve spent the past four years slowly building EVERYDAY INSTITUTE, and we’re ready for you to pilot it with us—starting this fall.
It’s our response to Jesus’ command to teach people to “observe everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20) in community with others.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck and hungry to take steps toward the life you’re made for, you’re invited to join us at Everyday Institute—starting this fall with Day One on September 13 and Everyday Habits on Wednesday evenings starting September 24.
WHAT IS IT?
Everyday Institute is a series of courses designed to accelerate discipleship every single day.
Think of it as a step-by-step map toward the life you’re made for that will set you up for a lifetime of following Jesus.
Each evening of the course will include a high-quality video teaching (taught by our Lead Pastor), group discussion with others on the journey with you, and socializing. Most sessions will include a question and response time with our Lead Pastor.
It’s made up of a one-day mini-course called Day One that’s followed by three, six-week courses in fall, winter, and spring: Everyday Habits, Everyday Faith, and Everyday Life. You sign up for one course at a time, and we encourage you to take as many as possible.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Everyday Institute for anyone who is hungry to follow Jesus further into the life you’re made for. Whether you’re just getting started in the journey after something like Alpha or further along in your journey, it’s designed to help you take steps from where you are to where God is inviting you to be.
WHAT ARE THE FOUR COURSES?
DAY ONE: A mini-course designed to introduce you to the three experiences that kickstart the life you’re made for (gospel, baptism, Holy Spirit)
EVERYDAY HABITS: A six-week course designed to introduce you to the five habits that are almost guaranteed to help you close the gap between the life you’re living and the life you’re made for (Bible, prayer, generosity, community, mission)
EVERYDAY FAITH: A six-week course designed to introduce you to the five foundational beliefs from the Bible on which you build the life you’re made for
EVERYDAY LIFE: A six-week course designed to help follow Jesus into the six areas of the life you’re made for one step a time (moral, physical, emotional, relational, vocational, cultural)
WHERE AND WHEN DOES IT RUN?
All four courses are hosted at Bellevue Christian Church (and childcare is available).
DAY ONE (Saturday, September 13 from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
EVERYDAY HABITS (Wednesdays, September 24 - October 29 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM)

We know it’s hard to make time for something like this as a parent, but we’re doing everything we can to make it possible for you. We have childcare available for kids through 5th-grade. We’ll wrap by 8 PM so you can get your kids home before it gets too late.
-
DAY ONE is free, but the other six-week courses have a small cost of $25 per course. The content is free, but the registration cost helps us cover the cost of workbooks, snacks, and drinks.
If the cost is a barrier to you, we have full and partial scholarships available.
-
We recommend that everyone goes through the entirety of Everyday Institute at least once as part of their discipleship. If you haven’t done it yet, start there.
Once you’ve completed Everyday Institute, join an Everyday Group as part of your ongoing discipleship.
You’ll build friendships in both.
We just don’t recommend that you try to both at the same time.
-
No.
We do recommend, though, that you take as many courses as you can for the sake of momentum.
You can take just one or two courses if that’s all you have the bandwidth for this year.
